Structural moving, raising, and house lifting services are a Matyiko family tradition spanning over three generations. In 1954, John Matyiko Sr., son of a Hungarian immigrant, started a house-moving company in Virginia Beach, VA. As his four sons came of age, Johnny, Joe, Jimmy, and Jerry all joined the family business.

In 1974, Jerry Matyiko started up a new house-moving operation, Expert House Movers Inc., on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where the team became well-known for their expertise in house moving in Salisbury, Maryland, and nearby communities. [Read More]
